Currently Global Trade Tracker collects trade statistics from around 60 official government offices. This represents nearly 100% of world trade flows.
Data from non reporting countries
Mirror reporting is the functionality to estimate trade flows for which published country data is not available. Essentially imports in such country are established by looking at all the exports from the core countries to that particular country. Imports to the core countries from such a country would establish an estimate for its exports.
Each country is defined by a 2 letter abbreviation, which is the standard ISO 3166-1-alpha-2 code. Global Trade Tracker allows you to search for the countries of your interest regularly through its name and will automatically replace it with its ISO code. Once you will be familiar with the countries you can also simply enter the 2 letter code to increase the speed of working with Global Trade Tracker.
